Effective Date: January 1, 2024
At Urologic Surgeons of Washington, your health and safety are our top priority. To maintain the highest standards of quality and comply with health regulations, we have instituted the following policy for the sale of prescription medications.
Prescription Drug Sales
All sales of prescription medications are final. Due to the sensitive nature of prescription drugs, once these medications leave our contracted pharmacy, we cannot accept any returns or offer refunds, except in cases of pharmacy error. This policy is in place to ensure:
- The integrity of the medication supply chain
- The prevention of tampering or contamination
- Compliance with state and federal laws, including FDA regulations
Exceptions
Refunds or exchanges may only be made under the following circumstances:
- Pharmacy Error: If our contracted pharmacy dispenses the incorrect medication, strength, or dosage, we will provide an exchange or refund at no cost to the patient.
- Defective Medication: If the prescription medication is damaged or defective (e.g., broken seal, tampered packaging) upon receipt, please notify us immediately. We will work with you to replace the product or issue a refund.
How to Report Issues
If you believe your prescription has been an error or if you encounter a defect, please get in touch with us immediately. You will be required to provide proof of purchase and return the medication in its original packaging.
Note: Always check your prescription carefully when receiving your package.
